Mark Williams is a Leamington based web designer and developer working for 2Market Ltd, a web design, marketing and copy specialist also based in Leamington Spa, Warwickshire.

Mark designs professional bespoke websites using the latest techniques to ensure all of his sites conform to the guidelines set by the W3C (World Wide Web Consortium). All sites are designed using XHTML (eXtensible HyperText Markup) and CSS (Cascading Style Sheets) to separate the design elements from the content.

What does all that mean exactly?

There are a lot of website designers out there, but not all use XHTML and CSS to their full potential. Without going into the technicalities of the technology, the basis behind it is to separate all of the design from the content. CSS being the design and XHTML being the content. This technique produces websites that load faster, are easier to maintain and are more accessible. Along with this structuring the XHTML code correctly is a vital ingredient so to help people with disabilities access the site easily.

CMS (Content Management System)

Our custom built Content Management System is perfect for keeping websites up to date when required. The system allows the user to securely login and update any of the content on the site, as well as upload pictures, add, delete or edit news articles, and much more. To accompany an ecommerce store the CMS can be used to maintain all the products on the site, along with processing orders, stock control and reporting.
